Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)

The purpose of the Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) is to bring the school, home, and community into closer relation, so that parents and teachers may cooperate in the education of the child. A donation of $5.00 per family grants you membership to the organization. All other income is obtained from fundraising events and other activities as approved by the general membership and CFAY. Such fund-raisers have included book fairs, school photos, bake sales, Walk-a-Thons, carnivals, and popcorn sales. All of these events depend on the support of volunteer parents and teachers who are willing to give their time and energy to make these activities successful. It cannot be done without your help. The money raised is used for classroom purchases and school activities/events, and Gifts of Service to Volunteer PTO Aides.
